Addressable Fire Alarm Control System
An addressable fire alarm control system assigns each fire safety device a unique address. This kind of system can be considered a modern and updated version of the conventional fire alarm control system, which most are familiar with. With this modern technology, it’s easier and quicker for responders to identify which device was triggered and locate the area where the fire is present, making it perfect for large buildings or established businesses.
The digitally programmable main control panel allows it to be used in all environments and prevent false alarms. The control panel can detect a faulty device’s location and identify potential fire hazards (e.g., leaks, etc.) before triggering the alarm. The wiring design is also genius, as detectors are connected to the main panel through both ends of the wire; therefore, a break in one of the wires will not halt operations as it can still send signals through the other end.
